This is me and my brother holding a photo of "John" the leatherback sea turtle . We were asked by our grandma's pen friend who lives over in California, USA to help out her grandson and his class, also of California. It is a race in their class to see which turtle travels 6 continents the fastest and wins. Hopefully we will find out how "John" got on and will let you know. At the same time they are also learning about the continents that the turtles have travelled.

Thanks for sending us the turtle back. You are the first recipients of the turtle John. Bullis is a small school in Los Altos, CA but not as small as your school. There are about 327 students at Bullis in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.
If you'd like to check out how John is doing compared to the other 18 turtles from our class, go to: http://66.118.157.69/*bullischarterschool.com/web_users/mslura/website/turtle_race/turtle_race_fs.html
We have one turtle, Thunder, that has visited 3 continents: Europe, Asia, North America.
Thanks for your help.

Now there's a cool idea. We could try the same sort of things next year.
I suppose though that you will be at intermediate by then. How do you feel about that?
